Week not off to a great start

I have been dealing with sickies all week now. First Little C had a horrible cold that just knocked her off her feet,I thought she would be able to return to school today but she came running into the kitchen this morning with blood streaming from her nose. So I kept her home again to keep an eye on her. We have worked on school worked, Reading and addition so we have been busy. And now today my oldest J is home sick,I think the stomach bug. He's in his room right now laying down. B wanted to stay home but I do believe it was more because both his brother and sister were staying home. LOL

We had a busy weekend as well. Saturday we were up early and out the door by 7:30 am to get B to his wrestling meet on time. We got there around 8:30 am and didn't get out of there until a little after 7:30 pm. It was a long and tiring day. But a blessing in disguise as we had a winter blast come through with snow and black ice and the roads were horrible and wrecks everywhere. They had roads shut down all over the place. But by the time we left they had treated the roads with cinders and salt and it was not slick. We got home around 9:00 that evening. But left with good things. They won the whole meet,they got a trophy for the trophy case at school and a tshirt that all the boys wore with pride yesterday to school.
