John and I are heading into some financially tough times just ahead. We know these times are going to be difficult but we are going into it with our eyes open and our faith in Jesus. Sooo in the shadows of this I decided to make a sort of game out of this if you will......
,
For the month of April and maybe longer I'm going to post what I spend each day if I spend in and what I do to cut corners and save my family more money. I think it will be fun. Even if I goof up I will blog about it. It will be great if I can get some of my readers to join in this with me!
God Bless,

I think you will find this so helpful! I keep a monthly spreadsheet of all of our expenses and break it down into categories. It is so wonderful to see where all of your money goes. It's amazing how much little things like a morning soda run before work add up.
I do track our spending. I have used money for this and it breaks it down into categories for me so I don't even have to think about it. LOL Less paper work for me is a plus! LOL
This is a great idea!! I'm always looking for ways to cut corners! Right now the only place we spend money that isn't already spoken for by bills is at the grocery store and gas station. We even recently canceled our cable and got a digital antenna instead to save $50 a month. I've started shopping sales and putting my vacuum sealer to good use. I'm looking forward to next year when both my husband's and my car are paid off!! We got married with nothing but the clothes on our backs so we were stuck purchasing two cars at once!
I'm so glad to have you join in. I think We call can learn from one another and get ideas. I'm sure there are things that each of us do that We would have never thought of to save money. Sadly We still have 3 years until my suv is paid off. I'm glad that we have it with the winters we get here. It's been a blessing but I still hate paying that payment every month.
